Symbolic integration

Here we show symbolic integration of definite and indefinite integral of a real function of one variable. Applet provides symbolic solutions for indefinite and definite integral vie Newton-Leibnitz formula. Graphs of functions f(x) and F(x) are shown and area corresponding to definite integral is marked.

Please enter fucntion f we will integrate and boundries of definite ingetrtaion, a & b.

Note

If CAS engine of GeoGebra cannot solve the symbolic integration result of “F(x)=” can be shown as blank field or “undefined”. If are of definite integral covers any singularities of given function or areas where function tends to infinity GeoGebra might not be able to calculate definite integral.

Function of variable x we will integrate:
f(x)=

Limits of integration in case of definite integral: a = b =
